Sol Beer Review

Name: Sol
Brewed by: Cuauhtemoc Moctezuma
Beer Type: Adjunct Lager
ALC/VOL: 4.5%
Overall Score: 9.9/10 [with a slice of lime]

Comments: Very light and crisp, this beer is like Corona-- only better (and I have yet to have one that was skunked). Brings the Immortal Technique lyric, "No one's as good as me, just got better marketing schemes," to mind. The perfect summer/beach brew, this is my favorite Mexican beer.

Magic Hat's Blind Faith IPA

Name: Blind Faith IPA
Brewed by: Magic Hat
Beer Type: IPA
ALC/VOL: 6.2%
Overall Score: 5/10

Comments: Its amber color and floral aroma are inviting. The taste? not so much. This light/medium-bodied beer does not have even a hint of hop flavor, which is, in this beer connoisseur's opinion, unacceptable for an IPA. It is very crisp (like a light lager) and the packaging is ultra sleek, though. They should spend more time on the product and less time on the packaging.

Deviant Dale's IPA

Name: Deviant Dale's IPA
Brewed by: Oskar Blues
Beer Type: IPA
ALC/VOL: 8%
Overall Score: 9.5/10

Comments: Medium amber and medium-bodied, this IPA is refreshingly crisp. Oskar Blues is extremely environmentally conscious, so this brew comes in a 100% recyclable can; goes in a glass just as easy, and tastes delicious.
